2009

It's been forever since I posted.... I'm going to try better in 2009 and post at least once a week! Let see if I can catch everyone up since my last post. Christmas came and we had a wonderful first Christmas with Marley. She got lots of present and toys, it was the best even though she had no idea it was great to be a mom on Christmas and have that first experience. It take Jonas and I two hours to put together the exersaucier, and we decided not to wait until Christmas Eve to do that again. Then came New Years and we went to my parents for their party, it was great seeing everyone and staying up to get my New Years kiss. Marley is officially nine months old and is doing great! We have been fighting a cold but other than that she is growing and learning. She can wave bye bye and give you five. She is so cute!!! Hopefully everyone is caught up. This weekend my PawPaw is turning 80 and we are throwing him a surprise party,and Jen and Drew are coming home. Aunt Jen and I are going to get Marley's ears pierced so look for those pictures coming soon...

Christmas is almost here and the Taylor family is in full swing. We had some great news come our way on Monday.... No Open Heart Surgery!!! Whooo Whooo.. We met with Dr. Ebeid (surgeon at UMC) and he told us after the echo that the PDA was smaller but the ASD needed to be closed but Open Heart Surgery was not needed it could easily be done by a Heart Cath through her groin. Such a relief for Jonas and I, I don't think I have stopped smiling. Dr. Ebeid would like Marley to gain at least 5 more pounds before doing the Heart Cath so we have started her eating her baby food three times a day plus her bottles. Bring on the Pounds!!! Being Thankful!!!

I have many things to be thankful for this year, and I'm most thankful for my family....Everyone has really helped to support Jonas, Marley and I through all the difficult times and we are so grateful. Here is a picture of my turkey I'm so thankful for her!!!

Busy Weekend

This has been a busy weekend.... Saturday Morning we had our Christmas pictures taken, Marley looked so cute in her Christmas dresses-they should be ready on Wednesday and I'll post the link. Then we went to Jonas' dad's and Janie's for Early Thanksgiving. We had a great time seeing everyone and Marley was in such a good mood smiling and talking to everyone. Today we finally picked a paint color we both agreed on, and painted the bathroom. I'll post some pictures and ya'll can tell me what you think. I'm almost finished with a dress I'm working on for Marley, and I got the cutest tights to go with the dress! Check out Marley's Wizard of Oz shoes!!! So cute!

So, it's been a while since I posted almost a month....It's been a crazy month, Marley has been fighting a cold and Jennifer went to work in Houston for two months :(. Now we have Marley feeling better and sleeping through the night it's a big relief. I get so scared about her being sick and having to go back to the hospital. She is gaining weight slowing but surely and is doing so good. She is talking and said "da" the other day and I think Jonas' head is still swollen. Although she has only said it once more he doesn't miss a chance to remind me. She is laughing alot too, in one picture I'll post she laughs like Jonas she shuts her eyes. We are getting ready to start holiday traveling, we are going to Saraland this weekend to have thanksgiving with Stan & Janie (Pop & Tay-Tay) then the next weekend it's to Nonny's we go in Tibbie. Finally Jen and Cat will both be home and we will be at my parents (Paw-Paw & Lettie's) for Thanksgiving. I love the holidays and this year is no exception, I've started my Christmas shopping and Marley is not missing much. hahaha..... Alright better go, I'll post again this week.

New Pictures

Time is Flying By....

It has been forever since I got on the blog and a lot has been happening. Marley is 6 months old, rolling over, holding her head up, talking non-stop, and being a wonderful baby girl. Jonas and I think back about what we did before she got here and nothing really compares to this. We go to Jackson on the 16th for a winter check-up with Dr. Blewett and Dr. Smith, and we will find out how much she weighs. We think were at 13 pounds she is getting bigger and eating all the time.
